I contacted HP’s customer support and shared the images of the damage. Based on the image shared, I was told that someone would share a quotation for the part that needs to be replaced. A quotation was sent to me and I paid for the quotation. A support executive visited my place to replace the damaged part but the part he brought was not the one that needed to be replaced. I was told that soon they will re-order the required part. No one bothered to order the corrected part and after multiple emails and calls, the support center told me that the correct part had been ordered. On enquiring when the part would arrive, everyone kept on delaying and making false commitments. One day, I received an email from HP stating that as an apology for the acute delay, they would provide me free-of-cost service and the amount I paid would be refunded. Now, after 38 days, HP Service Center, Rajouri Garden (Mr. Amarjeet Yadav, RM) says they will and can not provide the part but will just provide the refund and HP’s customer care says they can’t provide any help.
