Text of Complaint by PRASANTA ROY CHOWDHURY:

I made a booking with Hotel BANGALAXMI Puri , Puri through their manager who called himself P SINGHA contact no 7002792263. This contact number was available on the website of Hotel BANGALAXMI, Puri. Myself contacted this person for room booking as other land line numbers of hotel was not available/out of service. Room tariff has been told Rs 2500/ per night and after acceptance their tariff he has sent bank details of Hotel Bangalaxmi Puri and asked to make advance payment which was 2500/-. The payment was made through GPAY and then we did not receive any payment receipt/confirmation voucher. Upon further interrogation, he asked me to do a very suspicious process of bill registration through Gpay. I asked to cancell my booking & refund back my payment which is around 21000/-. On my further questing he refused to pay & disconnected and never picked my call henceforth. It is such a shame that such a racket is operative with a reputed hotel.

After a lot of effort, I contacted with actual hotel authorities and it was told that they do not have such person avaibale in their hotel. When asked then how that person can asked to pay to Hotel Bangalaxmi Puri Bank Account No 13891000005358 of Panjab & Sind Bank IFSC PSIB0021371 ACCOUNT HOLDER NAME HOTEL BANGALAXMI PURI they refused to comment and on it. I demand serious lookout of the matter by the concerned authorities and help general public reaffirm their faith on tourism.
