Hi,
I had booked Golden Tulip Media Hotel in Dubai via Rehlat in April 2023 . It was two bookings
Details of booking were as below
Booking ID: Rae1926348 and Rae 1926244.
I had to cancel the booking in a free cancellation period through Rehlat website and confirmed by phone call. I was supposed to get full refund for cancellation as mentioned in booking information receipt of hotel.
Rehlat, on 10th May, 2023, send an email to me and assured that my refund will be processed in 10-12 days and opened the following ticket .
Ticket No. 1120338″
Please find below the email of Rehlat to my agent after cancellation of booking.
“On Wed, Feb 15, 2023 at 2:43 PM Rehlat wrote:
Dear Customer,
Please accept our apologies once for any inconvenience caused. Your hotel booking has been cancelled and a full refund will be initiated for the amount of 2,482,95 AED & 1,738,068 AED for booking I’d Rae 1926348 & Rae 1926244 ,Which will be credited to your respective bank account with in 10-15 business days.
* The service fee of 3,2 % is a Non-refundable booking fee and pricedropsavings Adfon (Non Refundable)

I contacted them several time after passing of deadlines and they kept assuring me of refund with new extended deadlines.
As of today, 5 of June 2023,I checked my Hehlat account and found out that they changed status of by booking as not refundable. They was taken all amount for booking Rae 1926244 as a cancellation fee. I’m totally shocked. I have all emails and as well a screenshot of previous status I did 10.05.2023. I have not received my refund and Rehlat is no more responding to my emails either. I will add photos here as a proof of their fraudulent action.
I request Rehlat to refund me my amount .
