Text of Complaint by Ishwar Mehra:

Made booking for Aloft New Delhi Aerocity hotel through Agoda.com App, dated 6th August’021 for a night stay for 2 rooms for 7th Aug’21 through my HDFC debit card for an amount of 14560/- . My mobile immediately popped in the Agoda app for hotel not booked due to some booking concerns but my payment got deducted for that amount ??
With no booking id I though tried hard but was not able to contact Agoda people (for which customer should have an option to reach them !) and when I contacted the hotel even they denied any such booking coming their way.
Such a big fraud is happening on their Agoda app while booking hotel and customer is left in lurch helpless!
Since this fraud activity is happening (as I have come to know with others also) on Agoda hotel app , they should be responsible for it and should do immediate refund or to be taken to court not only for the payment fraud but also for the misery & trouble it caused to us.
But first I would request Agoda to contact me (mehra_ish@rediffmail.com) and pay the amount back.
