Hi Sir,

This is about the Online fraud that happens with the Honey Loan app.

Due to my emergency, I have once opted loan via the Honey loan app and repaid the same promptly, after making the payment on time and no further requests were made from my side and I had uninstalled the honey loan application from my phone.
However, without my concern/request this Honey loan app is crediting a specific amount(8300) to my account and asking it for repayment.
One of their executives send me an SMS on WhatsApp and told me that I have a due of rs 15000 from the honey loan. Then I am trying to search for the Honey Loan application in the google play store, but I did not find that particular application. Thereafter I replied to the SMS and told them that I couldn’t find the application in the google play store please send me the link so that I can check.
They send me a link to an APK file. When I am trying to download that file to my phone it showed a dangerous file, so I did not download that. I told them the same and also told them to send me a google play store link. This kind of conversation happened over WhatsApp so many times a day. They told me, I will send you a link just click on the link and pay. so I said ok send me. When I received the link I have seen that the link was not from HONEY LOAN, so I denied to pay on that link.
After that, they repeatedly thread me on WhatsApp that they send an SMS and call my contact and reference number. I was worried so I told them I do not have the money today because I was not prepared for the loan repayment, this loan is out of my knowledge and disbursed to my account.
After continuous threading I was worried so pay 2000 on that and send them a screenshot. I know that my money was going on the wrong hand but still I do not have the options at that time.
in the evening after receiving the amount they send an embarrassing SMS to my reference number.
That happened on the last day ( 19th June, 20222).
Today is 20th June 2022, again they send me an SMS regarding repayment. what to do. please help me to get out of these.
Kindly treat this as an emergency and take necessary actions.
