I have ordered Hitachi 1.5 Ton 3 Star Split AC – White on 13-06-2021 with order ID: OD122038855985263000. The product delivered was defective, there was a fault in auto cooling feature of the AC. I observed the pattern of cooling for almost 15 days after installation ( which was anyway delayed for one or the other reasons). I had placed a replacement request on 15th July 2021. After the days of chasing flipkart a professional was sent to our place and the spit AC unit was removed from wall whereas the outdoor unit was not touched. Now when the other professional came to pick the entire unit he stated that AC can’t be picked as the Installation ( removing of unit) is not completely done the pipelines and outdoor unit is not removed.. From that day till now no proactive measures has been taken by Flipkart. As a result, my AC unit is lying on floor from 15 days its of no use.
On 7th Aug 2021, due to the chasing from my end I got a call from Flipkart to cancel the replacement request and raise the new one. As soon as the already running replacement request gets cancelled by them, my new replacement request (as asked by them) has been sent to cancelled state without any confirmation. After another phase of chasing after flipkart, they agree to refund my amount as Rs. 33990 on 13th Aug 2021 and the same is shared on mail with me. From that day till today.
*I am tired and extremely harassed and at the verge of giving up with a feeling that in my country a customer is a fool.
**Was it my fault to not spend the money from my pocket and expected the defected unit to be replaced?
**I am salaried professional my money is stuck.
*** In the entire humid season I was not able to make use of the AC.
**** Its getting depressing for me day after day. Talking to your professional in a tone I had is taking over me.
