I was contacted on march 03 2022 by someone who claimed to be one of the outside professionals hired by Air Asia to look through my resume and told that my resume was shortlisted for junior engineer at AirAsia. The call came from this number: +9195592 35828.

I was also asked to pay an amount of Rs. 2000 for background check, post which it would be refunded. He told that after the background check, there would be one telephonic interview and then job offer in Kolkata based on 100% hiring. This man told me to send my photo ID to his WhatsApp number.

I was a bit busy so I followed through the instructions after which I searched and found out that air asia does not take any money for recruitment.

Please take action against such scammers. I hope AirAsia would develop better support lines at least after such issues.
