I have received message on my registered number where July Month bill is showing Rs.2690, Units Consumed is showing for July 2020 around 188 kWH. When I am checking previous bills Units Consumed is showing constant from March to June 2020 which is 134 kWH. My monthly average bill amount is below Rs. 800. I am paying all electricity bills as soon as I get it. The house that I am staying right now is given to me on rental basis. When I am contacting to BEST billing department via phone, no one picking up the phone but phone shows ringing, tried fourth times till now. Also I had checked with my neighbors also where they are also found increase amount in July 2020 BEST bill which is around Rs. 1600, if checking past bills of neighbors amount is not more than Rs. 200. In today’s Covid 19 lock down situation BEST person is not coming to take meter reading for all the customers but they are sending bills to customers directly which is unbelievable. This seems to be a fraud or cheating with customers who pays their electricity bills regularly. I want to register a complaint against BEST regarding higher electricity bills.
