There is a huge looting going in Virar west by the local auto-rickshaw drivers. They charge as per their choices. They are here to serve the local people and not only earn huge profits, understandable if they are charging reasonable charges, but they are unnecessarily hiking the prices. So from Yashwant Nagar to MHADA Colony they ask for Rs. 70- 80, where the route is nearly 1- 1.5 km. If the Meters are been set and accordingly the prices are been charged it would be very easy for every individual to pay. Also the Auto Rickshaw Union behaves like they own & run the whole Virar by themselves. The common people need to think twice to hire an auto for an emergency situation also. Request you to kindly look into the matter. If we local public support this Apps like Rapido, etc. they are against for this as these apps are very pocket friendly.
