Dear Sir/ Madam,
This is with reference to the inflated electricity bill received by Perkins Eastman from BEST for the month of June and July 2020. We received a bill of Rs 136900 for June 2020 i.e. bill period 31/5/2020 to 30/6/2020. On complaining to BEST at deea@bestundertaking.com, we got a reply from BEST mentioning that this was a consolidated bill of 4 months i.e March, April, May and June and that the amount paid for the previous 3 months i.e. March, bill period 29/2/2020 to 31/03/2020, April, bill period 31/03/2020 to 30/4/2020 & May, bill period 30/04/2020 to 31/05/2020 was deducted and the final bill of Rs 136900 was generated . With the office shut from mid March and operational around only 5 days in June, we have received this inflated bill.
We received another inflated bill for July i.e. bill period 30/6/2020 to 31/7/2020 amounting to Rs 49094, again with the office being functional for around 5 days in July.
With the office functional on a daily basis, the bills have not exceeded 60000 to 70000.
May I request you to look into these inflated bills and help resolve the matter. Hoping we do not receive such high bills in the months to follow.
