Respected Sir/Madam,
The electricity bill for June is three times our average bill for the year. Even in Lockdown we have paid the bills on time online for March, April and May. Still the June bill is beyond comprehension.
For 2 senior citizens, in a small 1bhk house, with no air conditioning, no washing machine, no electric gyser we have been charged Rs.1800 for June. Or previous electricity bills are all below Rs. 700.
We went to the electricity board and found out that many others have same complaint for June in Pune. However the authorities have no explanation and said we have to just pay more.
This is looting of public and is not ethical.
We need this matter to be looked into and investigated. Public wants help and support and not looting during these already tough times.
