I am quite surprised to receive such a heavy electricity bill. Needless to say there has been some anomaly or breach of duty. Either the meter readings have not been taken properly.

I am quite disturbed by how such an exaggerated amount in bill could have been reached. So I request you to have my meter checked and also get the meter readings confirmed. I shall be obliged to pay the bill until this dispute is settled if I am assured that the excess amount paid would be adjusted in my future bills.

I would be highly obliged if you could settle this matter in accordance with the provisions to the satisfaction of your customer.
