I have been receiving consistently high electricity bills since the month of May (except June). In May I received a bill of ₹4900, we paid it assuming that we probably used more electricity in the summer (it’s not common for us to receive a bill of this high an amount). The following month, I was relieved to see my bill ₹2500. But in July, I was billed ₹11,400! I tried to check the BEST website for the units consumed but there is no proper bill info available. We were afraid that they will disconnect our line and hence paid the bill somehow. Now again this month I have been billed ₹5900. This is not fair. I don’t even know if I have consumed soo much electricity as there is no more proper bill available.
