This is to bring to your notice that my electricity bill for the month of April has been exceptionally high. Please find attached the bill.
There has been no change in my power consumption pattern as compared to earlier month of March. Despite that I have received a huge bill of 8460/- . While it was 3580/- in March, which in turn was high as compared to Feb bill of 1530/- due to seasonal change. I moved to this house in September as a tenant. Since then my power consumption pattern clearly suggests that the enormous amount of April bill is due to some error in readings or faulty meter or wrong calculation. I live in a 1 bhk with just one window AC and one fridge as the major electricity consuming appliances. AC is hardly on for not more than 4-5 hrs on daily basis in summer. As such, the corresponding bill of 8460/- is not the correct bill for the same. Also it’s almost 3 times the previous bill, which doesn’t make sense.
I filed a complaint at Adani electricity. After being persuaded a number of times and almost after 2 weeks of my complaint, they came and checked the meter. Days have passed and I haven’t received any report and any solution from their end.
Kindly look into the matter.
