Before Covid I had HDFC credit card and I had to pay up to eighty-three thousand rupees for it. In March 2020, I paid ten thousand rupees to reduce my outstanding. But HDFC did not reduce my outstanding. At the same time, HDFC executive Sravan gave me the idea to take settlement or write-off but again he did not call for so many days. I was told that I would pay the balance but the billed amount increased up to one lakh and twenty thousand rupees with interest in three months’ time. The HDFC executive sent me a file saying that he was trying for online settlement and that a settlement of fifty-three thousand rupees had been approved. I got IVR call from HDFC customer care regarding fifty-three thousand settlement and it was also approved and said to clear in two installments. In two installments, first thirty thousand rupees and second twenty-three thousand rupees. I am attaching the two attached receipts. Even after all this, HDFC did not give me closure of card settlement. Moreover, they are torturing me by keeping my card still active and asking me to pay the remaining bill. It’s been three years since that happened and still no matter how many times I told them, they didn’t listen to me and still they torturing me to pay the remaining bill. During the time of Covid, they gave me a lot of trouble to pay money. Not knowing what to do, I took money from my friends and paid the settlement amount with lot of troubles. Since then till now my CIBIL score is also being reduced. Please help me to get the closure of the HDFC card.
