Text of Complaint by Amila Poddar:

I subscribed to the Jio Fiber service on 1st April, 2023 and Mr. Sashi, the salesman who sold me the package, promised me the connection will happen the very next day and took and advance payment of Rs 3650. Accordingly the technician came on the next day (i.e. on 2nd April) and informed us that due to unviability of ports we cant give you the connection, and from that time the salesman is not picking up my call. I feel cheated and misled, and I am extremely disappointed with the service provided because I clearly asked the sales guy will the connection be available? and he told yes ma’am don’t worry.

During the sales pitch, Mr. Ajay offered me the plan and features that he claimed were available with Jio Fiber. Ultimately, when I contacted customer service, the appellate team to inquire after this incidence , no one helped me in any way. Also they are not cooperating with me and putting me in trouble. I asked for my refund , that also they are not accepting and not returning it back to me. From last 10 days I am not having internet at my home and not able to work.

I had been cheated and misled by the sales person. I am extremely unhappy with this experience and feel cheated.

Despite repeated follow-ups on email, and complaints there has been no satisfactory resolution or compensation provided. In Spite of getting a prompt resolution from their end, every time I see that my complaint tickets are being closed without the issue even being addressed.

My first complaint, SR00001J0QR0, was closed without any resolution.

My 2nd Complaint, SR00001J3A7U, again closed without any resolution.

My 3rd Complaint, SR00001J4RR0, again closed without any resolution.

My 4th Complaint, SR00001J5OFQ, again closed without any resolution.

Then, after this the installation was finally scheduled for 8th April.

But, suddenly on 8th morning I got a voice record call from Jio that my installation has been rescheduled. I called the technician whos number was shared and he didn’t have any idea. He gave me another number to call and get details. So I did call but there also the same case. Like this these Jio people gave me multiple people number and no one knew anything. My whole weekend and office day got wasted for these people.

After all these harassments I canceled my order and for this also no in updating my cancellation status neither giving back my money

Still awaiting someone to contact me and provide me a valid compensation for the scam as well as the mental stress I’m facing and my work getting disturbed to a huge extent.
