I have never applied or even heard of gold cash app. on 24th of Jan’24, I have received an amount of 1920 rupees from somewhere which i don’t even know. on 28th Jan’24 I had received a call from California number saying that if i dont pay back 3200 on the given link I will face consequences. They shared all my contact list and image of mine is morphed and shared to me. I have filed a case with cyber crime and disabling my number and all other contacts which are in online for now.
Since i have not responded he is now asking for reduced amount of 1920 instead of 3200 by sending a link to me ( didn’t click on any link till now and disabled my bank account as well). Hope the RBI observes this and takes actions. All my contact list people are at risk along with me.
