Text of Complaint by Dhwani Shah:

I received a call from Anjali Patil from Airtel (Lower Parel branch) yesterday morning saying that now since my Airtel number has been ported, I will have to clear my balance payment. Upon telling her that I had already made the payment before the porting of my number, she just wouldn’t listen. She got agitated and started shouting on the call saying that if I feel she is lying, I should go and check the details at the Airtel gallery. And before I could even explain anything, she disconnected the call. Today morning she again called me and instead of asking me if I checked the account details of my airtel number, she rudely asked me if I had made the payment. So, I started to explain to her she did not allow me to speak and told me that my number will be barred if I did not make the payment and yet again disconnected the call without listening to me. So, I had to call her continuously on the number from which she was calling me, and she did not answer for half an hour. I again tried calling her and this time she answered. So I asked her name, which she wouldn’t tell me at all (as if, she was scared of something she had done). She said that in their system, it was showing a balance to be paid of Rs813/-. So, I again went to the gallery and got a statement of my account number where in my total invoice amount was 10426.81 and total payment made was 11291. So ideally, Airtel owes me Rs864/- and this lady with utmost rudeness and egoism threatens me to go and make the payment.

Airtel had never disappointed me until today. Most pathetic customer service. Executives who don’t have basic manners and etiquette are given the job responsibility of customer service (that is so FUNNY). They talk to you as if you are criminals and show no respect towards a person whatsoever.

They just literally want to harras the customer and extract money from them, whether or not the customer is loyal and makes timely payments for the past many many years.

SHAME ON YOU AIRTEL! SHAME ON YOU ANJALI PATIL!
