I had given circle change request for my number -9501830927 at Airtel Store Metro road,Ludhiana . I waited for few days and revisited the store to know the status . At the store , I was told by airtel representative, Sonia that my application has been rejected. I tried to return the new sim given to me at the time of porting but she told that the new sim is not usable now and is waste. So, I threw away the sim but in next two days , to my surprise my old sim stopped working . I revisited the store and was informed that the porting has been completed . But since I had already threw away the new sim , I asked for duplicate sim but I was told that something from technical side is pending approval . My service on this number was stopped on 21/08/2024. It is noteworthy that I am using the aforementioned postpaid airtel number for more than 12 years as primary number and I have never defaulted on payment. All my government ids , bank accounts and even my govt. e- office login is linked with otp on this number. It’s more than 7 days , I am waiting but there is no positive response either from airtel store or from airtel customer care even after repeated telephonic conversations and visits to the store. I approached store manager Mr. Sumit also but to no resolution. He is now not even replying to my messages( screenshot attached).This is effecting my office work also drastically as i am not able to login to my office work id since then . Fault is all from airtel store representative side and I am being harassed. Kindly, help me with this pathetic situation and direct airtel for activation of my aforementioned airtel number immediately.
