Unfortunately I ordered Redmi note 9 pro max on 26 th August 2020 from Amazon . The day I received the phone I charged it fully and calibrated it but to my surprise I saw the batter was draining and my battery went to 5% within a day . I immediately called the customer care and as per their confirmation a technician visited my house after 5 days of my complaint .First of all the technician knew nothing , he didn’t even knew where ti check the battery mAh . Anyways the technician checked the phone and confirmed me that there is a some problem with the battery and he will update the same in their system and my phone will be replaced . I was satisfied and gave time to amazon to reach me through mail or phone after technician
However , i never received any call and hence after a week I called the amazon customer care again and as per them the technician has submitted report that the phone was working fine . I was shocked and asked them to connect me with the technician but they denied that . They again sent a new technician , who came after 5 days and put the battery on power saver and played yourube for 10 minutes, took screenshots and said the phone is fine . He did not downloaded any analytical tool or app to check the phone or battery performance .
At this time I was so frustrated as i started noticing small bugs also in the phone. On 11 th sept I decided to start screenshots of the phone in small intervals to prove my point.
1. The phone promises that with turbo charger the phone will be charged in 30 minutes , however according to screenshot attached , it shows the phone will charged from 5% to 100% in 4.35 hrs .
2. I was in call with somebody and while on call , i needed to use whatsapp , howsoever , I was not able to minimise the call screen to access the phone apps . I had to disconnect the call and then used whatsapp.
3. I took screenshot of the battery performance where it is clearly visible that the phone went to 3% to 30% in less than 45 minutes .
This is really surprising that the amazon is selling defective mobile phone at a sale and not providing the resolution even after complaining multiple times . Also the so called technician of there know nothing at all about the battery .
Earlier , i was using redmi note 7 and was completely satisified.
Such pathetic service and product delivery was not expected out of company like Amazon . I will leave no stone unturned to get the justice and prove that phone is defective because I don’t want others also to suffer and waste their precious time on Amazon .
