This is in response to the horrifying experience I have had to endure with “LAZYPAY” company over the past 10 days. An outstanding payment of approximately 1100 rupees was due on the 18th of August, in the very first call I received from their customer service I had stated that as I was out of the town and had an issue with my banking I would be unable to sort out the repayment until I was back on the 31st and able to visit my bank branch in person, despite this I have been subjected to more than 300 calls thus far, just in the last 10 days! I do not understand the logic behind this, I highly doubt the credibility of this company, 20-30 calls a day over the same meagre issue, from a hundred different numbers, I have never heard of any legit business use such cheap tactics! The harassment continues even after the bill was repaid on the 1st September, 1457, including the late fee was repaid, but I continued to receive calls from various numbers threatening to make the repayment!
I was mentally harassed over the last few weeks and also threatened and faced criminal intimidation by their “money repayment” team. This is simply unacceptable on any level, especially when the customer is also charged the late fee on top of all this.
I request you to consider this complaint with utmost seriousness, as there are plenty of similar complaints filed against “LAZYPAY”, to consider this an opportunity to stop thousands of others from undergoing the same ordeal, also to spread awareness regarding this scam, to stop it before it even starts.
