I was going to buy book from Amazon. The US site told me the could not ship from US. Went to the Australia site. The price quoted was more than twice as much plus $20 to ship from the US!
It had asked me as part of the checkout if I wanted a free trial of Prime which I declined. I decided that the price was too much and did not go ahead with the purchase. Today Friday 6 Jan 2023 I get a phone call saying they are going to bill me $98 for my streaming subscription and to press 1 if I want to cancel. This I did then they tell me I have to get on line to cancel they cannot cancel a subscription I never wanted unless I get online. At this point I hung up. I cannot understand why I have to get online and follow a set of instructions which I am extremely wary off because of scamming. Every other subscription I have had can be handled by talking to an operator.
