This complaint is against a reputed beauty saloon Jawed Habib located at Rajarhat Kalipark, Kolkata. I went few services- haircut, hair spa and etc on 12th of August, 2025 at around 11:45 am. I entered the store and asked agreed for three services, namely, haircut, hair spa and manicure. Accordingly, I was directed to proceed for my hair wash since haircut was the first service I was going to receive.
Proper hair wash was done for a haircut and then a person was assigned for the service. He enquired me about the length of hair and I immediately responded and demonstrated that I want my hair length upto a certain level below shoulders. However to my surprise and shock and contrary to my directions, the person cut my below shoulders and I had to stop him immediately and call the manager.
On account such unprofessional and negligent behaviour, I am faced with such embarrassment for extremely short hair, which was never the intention. Since hair forms one of the essential part of a person’s physical appearance before a society, therefore this incident has led to excessive metal disturbance and agony.
In view of the above incident, I seek appropriate action against the salon and demand suitable compensation for undue harassment caused to me.
