Issue:- This is in regard to the Promotional Advertisement scrolling on each & every channel in order to informing all the consumers to make use of the Tata sky App & visit www.tatasky.com for the recharge of their set top box. Its Continuation time is approx 1 minute and when we change the channel, it appears again & again.
Trouble we are facing:- Seems unnecessary & unwanted advertisement at consumer end as there are another alternatives for the facilitation/information of the consumers. This advertisement also hiding breaking news appearing on the News Channel. Company cannot promote their business causing inconvenience to their consumers.
Submission of Complaint:- I am chasing with the tata sky team from last 20 days. Earlier, i started with Customer care toll free number. All the time they make my sure that they have now updated my set top box and ask me to make swith off/on my set top box in order to start the updated features and all time my response was that still the problem persist. After that i started dropping emails at Nodalofficer@tatasky.com, help@tatasky.com, contact@tatasky.com, haritn@tatasky.com. During email conversation, i got call from the tata sky representatives, they informed me the actual fact that this is not the technical problem, it is their Marketing team decision to flow this advertisement on TV Screen.
Now, another grievance arise that if it is not the technical problem then why their representatives all the times make me sure that they have updated my set top box and ask me to make swith off/on my set top box in order to start the updated features. it means, they have make my foolish and wasted my time.
Current Status of Grievance:-My Last submission with them was “to immediate stop of this advertisement on news channels”. but till date they have not work on my complaint.
