Text of Complaint by Suvith Raj Kotian:

After updating my One plus 8 pro, it started having green & Blue lines in the display. I immediately reached out to the service centre next day & was informed it will be checked from the technician, even after telling there was no physical damage on the phone, it still looks new. This is caused because of the software update. Later was informed it will sent for an approval & if approved, the display will be replaced free of cost. However the approval dint come in my favour, just because my phone was 2.4 years post purchase & only phones within 2 years are being replaced with display free of cost. I tired calling the customer care and negotiated with the customer care & service centre associates, since the cause was due to the company software problem and not from any physical damage from the user. However was declined with the feedback stating, since it’s more than 2 years the policy doesn’t allow them to repair the display free of cost, even though it was a due to the software issue.

Need assistance to provide justice, since multiple users have got affected & being ignored from the One plus Company.
