I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding the recent software update for my REALME GT2 PRO smartphone. After installing the update RMX3301_13.1.0.502(EX01) | Official version on 17/06/2023, I noticed the appearance of persistent green lines on the device’s display, rendering it unusable.
Considering the timing of the issue and the fact that it occurred immediately after the software update, it is evident that the problem is not a result of any mishandling or damage on my part. This strongly suggests that the update has caused a hardware malfunction in my device.
I would like to emphasize that my REALME GT2 PRO SMART PHONE is not currently under warranty. However, given the clear correlation between the update installation and the onset of display issues, I kindly request a free replacement of my smartphone. I believe that the responsibility lies with the company as the issue occurred directly as a consequence of the software update. To provide further details, please find the relevant information below:

Also as i have taken my phone to authorized customer service center in NUNGAMBAKKAM, CHENNAI they have blatantly denied the free service regarding the reason that the phone is not under warranty. They have given in written also that the display line issue cannot be attended as there is no warranty.But as the update is being released by realme itself and not even taking this issue seriously is an unprofessional way of handling the customers. I have purchased the top end phone of realme by have faith over the brand. But this issue has let me down. Whereas other brands like ONEPLUS AND VIVO has taken prompt action in this and they have changed the display for the customers who have faced this issue.I expect a solution for this issue from Realme side.
