A person named anil kumar contacted me through watsapp stating he is an indian army officer based out of mumbai on active duty, his sisters wedding is going to be held in rajendernagar hyderabad and he wanted to book a make up artist and found my profile on wedding bazaar and asked me to give him a quotation of the services, i told him it will cost 29000 for total booking for 6 persons, he asked for a discount and agreed to pay 28000. I told him to do a partial payment for slot booking which was 8400, he agreed and said he will call in the evening to make a payment. He called me via watsapp and said he is transferring money re 1 to my Gpay UPI through his military secure payment and asked me to check my balance, after rs 1 was credited and i confirmed he said he is sending 8399 and asked me to click on pay to have it transferred to my bank acc through GPay UPI. He asked me to check the balance when i checked instead of crediting the money was debited from my bank acc, later he sent me 2 more transactions of 8400 n 16400 and said i have this money and i need to sent it back to him and declined. When i called him back and told him he had scammed me n i will report him to police he said he does not care, do what you want.
