Hi Team,

I had opted for a Vodafone postpaid recently,I use a prepaid on vodafone, my documents were taken from my doorstep,I received a OTP from Vodafone and confirmation text as well,and then a new sim was provided stating that my postpaid will be activated in few hours.

After 30 mins I receive another call from Vodafone stating that my ID is been misplaced,and I need to get hold of the same representative who collected it,I tried explaining the caller that I can give the document again , he can find where the representative was and send him over to collect it,and get my postpaid activated, however I was denied that they can’t do it.

I then tried calling vodafone support desk for help,no one was ready to document the complaint and give a reference number.

Then I managed to get hold of Thier email address vodafonecare.del@vodafoneidea.com and sent a detailed email hoping to get a reasonable answer as no one was ready to take responsibility from Thier end, neither they have activated my postpaid sim yet.

In the mean time I was getting calling stating I had applied for a new postpaid number again,and they wanted to deliver a new simĀ  and take my ID again,no one was ready to activate the sim they had already delivered.

Atlast after getting multiple calls and messages, I hear from Thier Okhla office that they would investigate this, now it has been 11 days..and still nothing.

I get a call stating that the sim delivered would be activated,and was asked for the sim number,which I gave,soon after that I receive a new text from Vodafone stating that I had cancelled my postpaid.

Then I receive a message from the same team that now I need to visit a store with ID,still no one was taking any responsibility that my ID was misplaced/lost by Thier representative.

I wanted to go to the store at the first place,but I was stopped by Thier sales team stating that it would be taken care of.

I was planning to file an FIR as my govt I’d is lost because vodafone is not ready to take any responsibility.

Please guide me
