On 12th Feb,2024(Monday), a delivery boy from Ecom Pvt.Ltd Courier Services arrived at my doorstep and handed me a parcel claiming it was for me. To my surprise, I had not placed any order with Ecom Courier Services , nor was I expecting any deliveries on that day. Despite my protest and insistence that I did not order anything, the delivery boy insisted that the parcel was addressed to me and demanded a payment of Rs. 963 in cash for the delivery.
Feeling coerced and confused by the situation, I reluctantly paid the amount of Rs. 963 to the delivery boy. However, upon examining the contents of the parcel,It was a king sized Bedsheet. I found it to be completely unrelated to any products or services I have ever shown interest in or ordered. It is evident that this parcel was sent to me without my consent or knowledge, and the entire transaction appears to be a fraudulent scheme orchestrated by the delivery personnel.I request the Consumer Court to take immediate action against Ecom Courier Services for their unlawful actions and to ensure that I am duly compensated for the wrongful collection of cash and the inconvenience caused. Additionally, I urge the Consumer Court to investigate this matter thoroughly to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future and to hold the responsible parties accountable for their actions.
