Hello I recently accepted an assignment from a man by the name of Mark Johnson who claims to work for your company on freelancer.com
My project was to transcribe 75 images for $3,000
I was told that I would be paid via direct deposit after completion. When I sent the work in time he proceeded to tell me that Marinsoftware has a new policy which would require me to pay $50 for a employee ID and that afterwards I would be refunded the owed amount would be paid in full. after i paid the amount. and then they asked for another fees $300. at which i understood it is scam. and asked him to return my money but he is not returning it
I am very upset that I have not been paid yet for my work and only accepted because they never mentioned paying for anything in the beginning. Things like that are aligned with fraudulent behavior.
