I have lost my airtel prepaid sim card (chennai circle) in bangalore. I went to airtel store in marenahalli in jp nagar they gave me a duplicate sim card and told me that it will get activated in 4 hrs but after 3 days also it’s not yet activated. So I again went to the store and they suggested me to buy another SIM card as before and I did that. But that sim also after 1 week still not yet activated. When I again went to that airtel store they are suggesting me to go to chennai and buy the duplicate sim there itself or else ask anyone in Chennai to buy the sim on behalf of you. That number I have linked with all my bank accounts and I have been facing lot of issues bcoz of the sim.
