Today morning I got a call saying that I won gift for purchasing a product in Amazon and they gave a gift coupon code to put in search column and to add that product in cart. To claim that gift I should purchase any product for 5000 and they mentioned as that product payment should be in upi or bank transaction COD is not acceptable for the gift. For the payment they gave their account number and IFSC code it’s showing in Lucknow. Then I ringed Amazon customer care and enquired about this they said Amazon won’t call you like this. I have to raise a complaint as how my details shared to them they have my mobile number address last purchased product everything correctly it’s too ridiculous. Customer data should be confidential but you leaked it out how shall I use Amazon hereafter it’s too frustrating and worried about my personal details shared publicly. Need to file a complaint against this
