Text of Complaint by Shankar Subbaraman:

I have 3 connection in my Name Shankar Subbaraman with Airtel, 9731333229, 7406998822 and 7022622102.

On 02/06/2019 – I tried club all 3 numbers into 1 bill by upgrading to family pack 749 +tax on my Airtel App with 7406998822 as primary number. I called call center to verify the change and came to know that 3 mobile number can not be clubbed under the above plan.

So, I asked them to reverse the plan change and upgrade my to next plan 999+ taxes, with primary number 9731333229.

For the above they ask me clear the out standing bill of 7406998822 which I did.

Request was accessed.

On 20/07/2019 – I received bill for 7406998822 and I called call center some where between 20th & 30th for the clarification. They told that 9731333229 is in different system and 7406998822 & 7022622102, in different system, so we are not able to execute the request.

I raise the issue of billing me for the same, so call center reverse some Rs 60 on 7406998822 and Some x amount on 7022622102( I don’t remember exactly)

Call center referred the case to technical team and arrange the call back on the issue resolution.

I received a call from technical team, some mobile number and informed that the issue is resolvable and will be resolved in 4 working days with no impact on further billings.

After 4 days I received a SMS stating you ticket is closed. I presumed the issue is resolved because 7406998822 and 7022622102 where not there in the my Airtel app any more.

24/07/2019 – 21st July was the due date of bill payment Rs 1185 (999+Taxes). I have a auto debit active for this number since 2006, once I received the reminder that the bill is still due on My Airtel App, I contacted call center to inquire the issue. Answer is some RBI guidelines change you need to visit Airtel Store to re-update auto debit.

I randomly inquired about the plan and addition of all 3 number into 1 bill and to my surprise, it is again the same story that I can not be done due to system issue.

Now I am have 3 bill 9731333229 – 999+taxes (paid), 7406998822 – 749 +taxes (due on 30/07/2019), 7022622102 – 349 +taxes (due on 09/08/2019).

I am duped by Airtel call center for Rs 1400 loss on the bills this month.

Please help for resolution.
