Yesterday I got a call from someone mentioning that she is from Noise (Name :- Rubina =7704956643 ) She told me that there was a promo offer, where if we purchase items for INR 4999 , so we would get 40% cashback. In addition to that, I could choose additional gift of mention below.
1. Dell Inspiron
2. Sony Bravia
3. Apple iPhone
4. Volta AC
5. LG double door fridge
And also they claimed that offer is from Noise sales and promotions team and that I need to pay the amount of product (4999) not from app (as it would be like any normal purchase and not the offer) but from bank transfer.
After payment they said sales promotion person will call me and confirm dispatch and them you can search the order ID on noise application as well.
The dispatch person called Tina agarwal from (8433349716 , 8342098296) and said that there is some GST issue that government is not approving using their GST In as the invoice from Apple IPhone 12 that I chose was in my name. So she insisted me to pay 19844.22 and said I will get reimbursed immediately. I refused by saying I don’t have that kind of money and asked them to pay m charge me on delivery of products. She said if I will pay 19844.22 for them then only they will dispatch the other products which I have ordered worth (INR.5097 as they said to shop INR 4999) with the offer of IPhone 12 otherwise they won’t refund or deliver my products even without that iPhone. Since then all the numbers that I have mentioned are switch off.
The scam was done in the of Gonoise company . My concern is without any support from Gonoise company how the data leaked by them how did those people know about my order history my address and all other personal details because that is one of I’m fill the payment fraud of Rs . 5097 + 19844.22
I have also received a similar call today wanted to know the status of this complaint now is it resolved or not.
I have also received such call and whatsapp message from the numbers +91 75663 97126 and +91 8982513997. Named Pooja. This is worst to know that Gonoise is leaking customer purchase details to frauds. I am never going to buy anything from Noise.
I have received same call. I am currently in call with him to know what kind of scam he is doing.
He know all my details including my address.
He said that I have to pay with online mode only then only this offer is eligible.
He said that you have to buy some product worth 4999+ rupees to be eligible.
The gift items he mentioned were Dell Laptop, Apple iPhone 12, LG Double Door Freeze, AC, and Sony 49inch TV.
This is truly a fraud and don’t purchase this.
