Text of Complaint by Cdr Jacob:

Highly disappointed at the Goibibo response on their helpdesk/customer care numbers. My son Marvel Jacob has booked 4-5 air tickets thru Goibobo mobile App. The Booking ID is – GOFLIMT9A3981656749640. By oversight, the Surname was not filled during ticketing of his Singapore to Sydney leg of travel; Only the first name and middle name were entered.

Quantas, officially has communicated to us saying such corrections are possible-but, only thru booking agency, which is Goibobo. Despite sharing the communication from Qantas, Goibibo is saying “It is not possible; You have to cancel and rebook the tickets”.

More importantly, as per Qantas, there is a cancellation charge of Singapore $200 (This was clearly shown at the time of booking as “Partially Refundable”. Goibibo reps however now say, “Ticket is Non-fundable”.

Do not understand how irresponsibly Goibibo is dealing with us. This is making us more worried, confused and uncomfortable.
