My brother had made upfront payment for a product – Laptop – worth Rs. 57,500 to Mr. Ashwin R Kannan ( Seller details updated below) on Aug 21, 06:04 PM on the basis of assurance from the seller that I will be receiving the product in 10 days. The payment was done through Google Pay to an account provided by the seller (UPI transaction ID – 123347816422).

As of today, 30 days have passed since payment has been made, but no product has been delivered yet to us. The seller keeps providing me false deadlines for delivery since the payment date and refuses to acknowledge requests for delivery status updates for long periods of time. After continuous follow ups, the seller had updated that the product was shipped on Sept 4, but on further enquiry later on Sept 12, he did a U-turn saying it was not.
He keeps repeating that the product will be delivered soon. He does not answer any calls and if he responds to the messages , it’s only to further delay the matter saying it will be shipped without showing any evidence about it.

We have requested a refund of money for the product since it was an urgent requirement for us, but he refuses to pay the refund amount stating that the product will be delivered shortly for the last 2 weeks.

I kindly request you to look into this matter with utmost priority.
