Hello,
I am currently using a new SIM card from Airtel, which I purchased around 3 to 4 months ago. Since then, I have been receiving repeated calls from people claiming to be from CreditBee loan recovery/support, saying that a loan was taken using this number.
I have never taken any loan from CreditBee or any similar service.
I suspect that the previous owner of this number may have used it to apply for a loan, and now I am receiving the calls because the number is registered to me.
Recently, I even received a call claiming to be from a police station, saying there is a petition or case against me related to the loan. The caller said they were from Mannarkkad Police Station, and the number they called from is +91 80950 37258.
I am concerned that this may be a scam or harassment, and I want to clarify that I have no involvement in any such loan activity.
Please look into this matter and help me resolve it. I am the current and rightful owner of this number and should not be held responsible for actions by the previous user.
