I moved to Canada recently and opted for 30 day IR pack but within few hours of landing and after few calls the services were barred without any notice or warning and left me stranded in foreign country without any means to get the services unbarred.
Whenever i tried to call customer care i was told that My services are barred and to unbar services i need to contact customer care. How am i supposed to call customer care from a foreign country without phone services?
I tried numerous ways to reach customer support but everything failed, Even sent a friend to airtel shop in India, they also asked to call customer care from the number.
Why were my services barred when i used only a fraction of minutes and data? Even if they were barred services should be unbarred in few hours or days. Customer should be able to unbar services from app/website or be able to at least call customer support while services are barred.
Now that I have almost not used the IR pack at all I feel defrauded by Airtel. Finally I found nodal officer email and sent a mail explaining the situation, I requested you to deactivate the IR pack and not include any charges in my bill for the services that I have not used. He/She opened a service request(31-3780621242706) which was marked as resolved within an hour without any resolution or explanation.
Now I am being forced to pay for services I was not able to use.
