My parents were using prepaid Vi numbers (7379590529 & 9918097324) from past more than 10 years. Since they had no prepaid balance so I recharged my parents prepaid numbers (Rs. 379+ Rs. ~400) on -6-Feb-2021.
Next day both the numbers stopped working we visited at Patrakarampuram Vodafone store Gomitnagar Lucknow and customer care said that your both the numbers were 3G that’s why it is not working and they suggested some family plan and asked to convert from prepaid to postpaid to get 4G connection we did the same. They gave us new two 4G postpaid SIMs but still issue was not resolved and I almost visited one month at Patrakarpuram Gominagar Vodafone store and every time they were saying that we are sending engineer to check the tower issue. After waiting for almost a month when issues were not sorted out then I requested to close the connection permanently but Gomtinagar Patrakarampuram Vodafone store customer care said that you have to pay the post bills for both the numbers to get clearance, we paid postpaid bills Rs 384 & Rs 810 on 23rd March-2021 for both the number (7379590529 & 9918097324 ) (I paid the bills for that service which my parents were not able to use but I did to get the clearance) .
When I asked the clearance document, lady from Gomtinagar patrakarpuram Vodafone customer care, she said that printer is not working so I cannot give the printout of the clearance but I have closed the numbers permanently, if you want can take the snapshot of payments and that I took.
We live in Delhi and our parent live in UP after returning from home when we reached to Delhi we have been getting continuous threaten calls from the Vi stating that your amount is due and you need to pay else we will take legal action against you although we have already paid the amount for that service which we never used but again they are forcing and threating us to pay again. Since we are living in delhi so we cannot go back and talk to Gomtinagar patrakarpuram Vodafone customer care but when we called that lady and informed her that still I’m getting calls for clearance she said that Sir you numbers are closed and please ignore those calls.

I’m really frustrated and getting threaten calls from past 5 months and replying to everyone that I have already paid if printer of Vodafone store is not working and customer care has not done her duty properly, is it customer mistake and does customer suffer here. Customer has already paid to Vi Rs 1973 to get the clearance for that service which was never used but now again they are forcing us to pay again.
Is it right.
I need immediate help.
