I had purchased Whirlpool 292 L double door refrigerator for Rs.31,500 on 7th April 2022. On 7th March 2023, there was no cooling in the refrigerator. I raised a complaint and the technician has come and confirmed that there is gas leak problem. As the product is under warranty and as a customer we do not expect such major problems to occur in the first 1 year of buying the refrigerator from a well known brand, I expect Whirlpool to take this into consideration and replace my refrigerator.
The service people showed no interest to fix the gas leak issue and they were planning to only refill the gas and leave, which I could not agree for such a costly product which has not completed even 1 year after purchase from a big brand like Whirlpool, and we expect the service people to be more fair and fix the root cause of the issue and not to focus on just looting the customer after the warranty period is over.
