I rented a flat from netrac properties 101, through Deloris. Roramia court, hawk street, Germiston. I paid double deposit and R1000 electricity deposit. (R11 000) I rented there nearly 3 years. I gave 2 months notice. On returning my deposit, money was taken off for repainting which was not needed, and cleaning, I had the flat cleaned myself, my electricity deposit was not paid back, even though the flat was changed to pre-paid electricity. No interest on my deposit was paid out either. She has avoided the rental tribunal, and is now avoiding my lawyer. This is theft and fraud. I fear she may be doing this to other people too.
