I have been an Airtel customer for a very long time.
In spite of repeated application of DND in my phone, I have been getting these commercial SMSes continuously. It is really frustrating and extremely painful to be disturbed by this onslaught of unwanted messages. I plan to discontinue with Airtel if no action is taken about it. Airtel seems to be totally helpless against this malpractice even after claiming one of the best services in the country. This is a corrupt practice by Airtel- to lend customer’s numbers to 3rd parties for monetary gain. PLEASE GET THIS STOPPED.
AIRTEL should actually begin a movement of being the first one to stop this terrible menace. Flaunt it in their advertising. I am confidant they will get more credibility which is so important for a long haul in business.
