I bid of a project on freelancer.com for web designing to it lowest value of USD 250 for which employer contacted me and given a international number +13139131171 to chat on whatsapp. In whatsapp he mentioned about his one more project of 5 logos designing for  and asked me if i can do that also ?, I told ok, as he agreed logo design to give separate charge, he has budget of USD 1500. But he told he want to give his workers in India 1k INR for festival through paytm, if I can help in transfer 1k INR and he can transfer the project fee in advance for that. I agreed that if he give me early i can help and I can do project for less amount also at least to start on freelancer.
He told me to share the freelancer link of profile to so that he can transferred the amount in freelancer account and I transferred to paytm for his worker phone no. 7518819932. He transferred some amount in USD so that i can transfer 1k INR to paytm for my confidence. Then he told he can transfer more USD for 4k INR paytm. In total he transferred USD 200, and told me to give a msg text in paytm “Best wishes from deen family.”. After paytm transferred is done I even screenshot. I then asked about his website, and his he already have domain name and hosting reserved, he told do the last transfer but hesitated and asked why you are giving me in advance with the work? He told don’t worry he has budget of USD 1500 for project (can pay on paypal for that) and he want to transfer USD 248 more for 5k paytm, I don’t replied for some time, he tried calling me on whatsapp twice again.

After all the chat on whatsapp, he typed in freelancer chat “$248 for 5k”, because I was not able to chat on whatsapp because of a call on my phone.
in between call I typed I am on call wait for minute and then he typed to check if I am ready, I though its last so I typed yea.

For last he transfered USD248 and I transfered 5k INR on paytm. After that he told he can transfer more his worker will be happy but I told no more transfers.

After sometime freelancer.com deleted his account and reversed the transaction because of the text in chat “$248 for 5k” and reply from myside as yea. I lost all money transferred on freelancer.com.
They may be thinking it as money laundry fraud but how can USD248 be equal to INR 5K..

I contacted freelancer.com support, they are saying it was violation of there rule so they revered transactions and deleted employer account. I asked who will pay me and the money I invested and i worked for website (I worked for his website in between time so that i can answer his queries when he will ask). Freelancer support told me to check with employer directly, I msg him on whatsapp, he seems unaware to deletion, he told wait a minute let him check what happened. After that he seems to have blocked me on whatsapp. I called on paytm number he mentioned that was switched off. I called paytm if they can help with contacting that person or reversing transaction, paytm support is helpless can’t access customer info.

Freelancer.com says you both has violated there policy, so they deleted account and reversed transaction but because the reverse transaction that is why people do fraud through freelancer.com. There are many cases i came across after my incidence. So i think freelancer.com is main culprit giving ground for fraud people. If they don’t reverse transactions such incidence can’t happen.

Can any thing be done in this case, pl suggest ?
