I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to report an unfortunate incident of fraudulent activity that I recently experienced while attempting to purchase a BGMI ID. I am bringing this matter to your attention in the hope that appropriate action can be taken against the individual responsible.
On 17-August-23, I came across an advertisement on a social media platform for a BGMI ID that I had been searching for. The individual, who goes by the name of Hirak Jyoti Deka, claimed to be from Assam but possibly residing in Bangalore. We communicated primarily on the messaging app Telegram, where he provided two contact numbers: 8618586557 and 9127298593.
Trusting his claims, I proceeded to make the payment of INR 900 through my Paytm account, using the UPI ID hirak33@paytm. However, I was shocked to find that despite the payment being successful, there was no delivery of the promised BGMI ID.
When I questioned Hirak Jyoti Deka about this issue, he insisted that I pay an additional sum of INR 3500 for another ID. Realizing the suspicious nature of the situation, I declined his request. In response, he abruptly bid me farewell and proceeded to block me on Telegram, essentially leaving me without any recourse.
I genuinely believe that I have been scammed and that Hirak Jyoti Deka is involved in fraudulent activities. I write to you with the hope that you can provide me with some guidance on the appropriate steps to take in order to recover my money. Furthermore, I would appreciate it if you could alert the necessary authorities to investigate this matter and prevent others from falling victim to his scams.
Please find attached the payment transaction details for your reference. I am also open to providing any additional information that may aid in the investigation of this case. I kindly request your prompt attention to this matter, as it has caused me significant financial loss and distress.
