I had done a hotel booking transaction for Rs. 2557.61 on 29/09/2022 through the payment gateway “Paytm Payments Retail Mumbai” which was provided by Agoda.
The amount has been deducted from my credit card account, Agoda says that amount is not received, cannot confirm booking.

The amount is with this fraud merchant, kindly help in getting refund.

  1. Same case happened with me also on 2nd November 2022, do you get any resolution or your money back, if yes then please tell me how.

      1. I send emails to Agoda support team on 3rd November, they don’t have any information about that failed transaction, they told me that there were no transaction happened on that date (2nd November). I told them about the full incident, but they were telling me the same answer (almost 10 emails exchanged with them), I have contacted Paytm support executive also, he also had no answer.
        I asked Agoda team about the failed transactions in their app, almost all the e-commerce site & apps gives us details of failed transaction but there is no such thing in Agoda app.

        Finally on 5th of November around 12:15 pm I saw my credit card unbilled usage, it shows me that the money has already been credit back on 3rd of November. Previously I did checked that on morning 9 am also but it was not credited back as per unbilled statement.

        So please have a patience, it will credit back to you shortly.

  2. I encountered the same issue on Nov 20th 2022 with Agoda app and the same Paytm Payments Retail. Please can someone share the proper Agoda customer care ID.They tactically didn’t send the details of failed transaction in message or email. Their customer support in the app is a joke.I am struggling here to get my refund.
