I was cheated on a IVR call. On 24 Dec 2023, I received a IVR call from unknown phone number saying that someone is trying to connect the payment with your number and asked to press 1 to confirm and 2 to rejrct. i press 2 to reject, The IVR call got disconnected. Then i started getting bulky SMS and calls for otp of different websites. I raised complaint in cyber crime portal on same same day 24Dec, 2024 with Acknowledgement No. : 23712230052684,
But now from past few days i am getting calls from Simpl for payment of the amount which was not done by me. Earlier i was not aware about that the fraud was done for which account. Now i am not sure how to handle this fraud.
