Text of Complaint by Parminder Singh:

Dear sir/madam

This has reference to my attempt of purchase on 7/4/2019 at the website of EzeeDeals after being lured by an advertisement on Facebook (1.jpg) conveying that Mi Band 3 was being given on Buy 1 Get 1 offer at Rs 1599 if I paid it through PayTM or Credit/Debit Card and Rs 1899 if I paid by CoD. By clicking the link I reached the page (attached 2.pdf). I found out that the description said that the band was 100% original Mi Band 3. I almost bought it but stopped before clicking the payment button because I thought I did not need two bands. Upon logging into your website, I can see the details of an incomplete transaction (attached 3.jpg).
Two days after my attempted purchase, on the 9th April, I got a call from phone number +918377992829 at 2:36 PM (attached 4.jpg) on my mobile number used for purchase that my order for Mi Band 3 has been received. I told the girl on the other side that I had not placed the order. She said that it was a CoD order and I shall have to pay Rs 1595 only. I asked her if the bands were original. She said these are original Mi Band 3 and there will be a guarantee of a year on each. I thought I would gift one of those to someone and said ‘yes’ to the purchase and promised that I shall pay against the transaction.
On 10 April 2019 4:27 PM, I received a call from 9769019045 that there was a CoD Courier for me (6.jpg). I paid the courier boy an amount of Rs 1595 and collected the package (attached 5.jpg). As I opened the package, I found the two boxes with some “Intelligent Health Bracelet M3 My Device My Life Comfortable” band instead of Mi Band 3 (attached 7.jpg). The packing was loose (attached 7.jpg) and the product was not the one I had ordered. I called up the courier boy multiple times (attached 8.jpg) and when he picked up, he said he cannot do anything and I should contact the seller. I then tried calling the number given on the package (7290027494 [or 91]) which is an invalid number. I then tried calling the helpline number of EzeeDeals (08448445037) tens of times on 10 April 2019 (attached 9.jpg) and on 11 April 2019 (attached 10.jpg). The call was not completed even once of all these instances upon choosing to talk to a customer care executive (attached “08448445037 2019-04-11 14-19-26.amr”). I also tried calling the number from where I was contacted to confirm order on 9 April 2019 about 14 times (attached 9.jpg) but the call was never completed.
This whole scenario shows that EzeeDeals is indulging in malpractices by alluring people through advertising with ill intention to trap people, then by telling lies about the product’s genuineness and dispatching fake products. Upon that, there is no way that a user can reach out to them. Despite a 7-day replacement guarantee mentioned on your website, they are reachable through no means.
I am sure that they are doing the same with all customers and they should be brought to book.
