Text of Complaint by Shreya:

I am writing to report an online job fraud and harassment incident involving a website/job portal operating under the name “Find Your Careerss”, which falsely promised freelance data entry work.

On 16 July 2025, I was contacted by representatives of this portal and was asked to sign a digital freelance agreement. The contract required me to complete 500 resumes in 5 days with 90% accuracy, and only then I would be paid. However, there was no guarantee of payment even after completing the work unless their arbitrary accuracy checks were passed.

When I expressed my concern and requested to exit the project, they started threatening me with legal action, challan, and demanded ₹6,000 + GST as a penalty for not continuing the task. They are coercing me into paying this penalty to “break the agreement,” which I believe is part of a scam operation designed to trap and extort job seekers.

I have not received any compensation or job benefits from them. All communication and their agreement appear to be unethical, misleading, and exploitative.

Demanding: ₹6,000 + GST as penalty
