I am filing a complaint against the Smart Rupiya loan app for unauthorized loan disbursal, misuse of my personal data, and allowing my information to be accessed by scammers.
This app disbursed a loan amount to me without my consent, and before the due date, unknown WhatsApp numbers claiming to be their ‘collection agents’ started harassing me.
Two numbers, +9779869311680 and +91 72069 71757, contacted me, used abusive language, threatened me, and demanded repayment through private UPI IDs. One of them even sent sexually obscene and morphed images using my personal details and tried to blackmail me into paying extra money.
My PAN card details, call logs, name, and other sensitive data were clearly shared or leaked by the Smart Rupiya app to scammers. This is a serious violation of privacy, RBI digital lending guidelines, and consumer protection laws.
This app is engaging in unauthorized lending, data theft, harassment, extortion, and illegal recovery practices by third-party criminals.
I request action against Smart Rupiya, immediate removal of this fraudulent app, and strict investigation into how my personal data was leaked to scammers.
