Dear sir,
I have to complain that on 9 th July2020 I received a sms stating that a reference number was generated by me.Therafter a sms followed that my pack has been changed and modified according to my request .
I am having two connections in my Dth account.
I recharged my account on 3rd MAY 2020 with Rs 6000 .
In my 01 account I selected a pack called Mega hindi HD costing about Rs 600(exact pack and amount I dont remember as it was selected in May 3 2020)and in my 02 account I opted for ala cart of channels costing around Rs 144(Estimate as I exactly don’t remember)
This is to tell you that I never requested to change or upgrade my pack on 9 th July so who requested and upgraded for me?
I was happy with my whatever pack I selected in 01 connection and only few channels in ala cart in connection 02 .
When I contacted the coustomer care on 9 th night I was informed that my balance is Rs 137 and valid till 14 July.2020
There was no reasonable response and answer from customer care why my pack was changed and how did I exhaust my Rs 6000 in just 2 Month’s.
The customer care personnel convinced me to reset the ala cart pack in connection 02 and he is oblising me with resetting my old Pack in Connection 01 and removing the TOP up pack which was done forcefully.
In all these efforts multiple deductions were made in my account as service charges and my balance was dried up .
He said these are service charges for changes in package in my both connections.
My complains-
1)Who was authorized to generate a reference number on my behalf an 9th July morning to upgrade my package.
2)Who selected my Package ?
3)When I requested the coustomer service to please reset my old Package in both my connections as before it was. why couldn’t he help me?
Why did he make to reset my ala cart?
4) Why should be i charged multiple service charges for pack alterations if there was no request from me and I am not at any fault.
All I wanted was to have my previous packages in both connections.
5) I want details and simplified explanation of my billing schedule and how my recharge of 6000 exhausted in 2 months.
Plz look into my matter.I am mentally harresed since 2 days as I am a Doctor and a Covid Warrior. I am already so preoccupied and busy in this pandemic.
I recharged with hefty 6000amount not for spontaneous upgrades but for my mental peace.
I am very upset with this attitude and behavior of airtel Digital TV.
Plz explain me why shouldn’t I go to consumer forum, and Ombudsman help for the mental and Financial agony I suffered.
